Professor of the Practice - Sanford School of Public Policy

Ken Rogerson is a professor of the practice in Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy. He is currently serving as the Director of Graduate Studies for the Master of Public Policy program. He received his Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina in political science and currently teaches and researches on technology policy, information privacy, digital equity, news media and international communications. He runs research projects on digital equity through the Sanford School’s Tech Policy Lab, including work on technology in education, equitable device distribution, and digital divide issues. He serves on the board of the US national organization Digitunity, which works to provide affordable technology to underserved populations. He has presented in cyber policy training workshops at Duke University, as well as in Thailand, Costa Rica and Saudi Arabia.
